broken heater!

if a heater breaks in the aquarium, other than the glass, is there anything that can harm them after the heater itself has been removed?

Most heaters are made with just the metal as heater elements. Did your glass shatter or just crack?

shattered. but it only broke into 2 large pieces of glass, nothing else broke.

mine broke to a few months ago, all was well. I was dumb enough to not unplug it while cleaning ugh !

i did the same thing. but i just moved it while i was scrubbing alge off the back glass and i didnt notice it was out of the water.
