This morning, Google started doing something strange. When I search for anything, it puts notices on the results page: "This site may harm your computer" ...on EVERY result. When I click on the links, it blocks me from going to the site. I have to manually copy and paste the URL into the address bar to proceed. WTF?!

That's exactly why I don't use IE. I use Firefox because it's much more secure. You might suggest it to you mom. (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/))

Google seems to have fixed itself. I guess it was just a short-term bug in their warning system. I'm glad they fixed it quickly---that was VERY annoying!

You all using AVG?

I had the same problem, it wasn't updating and it won't let you go to a google site.

I restarted my computer and the AVG updated and no problems.

I do use AVG---great program, btw---and my Google issue resolved itself without a reboot. I don't think AVG had anything to do with it in my case.
