Mistery loach??

Anybody know if the ringed loach has another common name?

or its scientific name? or if they are good ramshorn snail eaters? :confused: :rolleyes: :confused:

Don't know what a ringed loach is as lots of loaches have stripes(rings). Check out www.loaches.com species profiles to see if you can find apics of yours.

Loaches from the genus(is that the right word?) Botia are usually good snail eaters. They need to be in groups of atleast 3 but more is always better. I have 4 botia striata(zebra loaches) and they did a wonderful job of eating all my rams horn snails.
