I just purchased a 24g DX Nano cube and I'm a little confused on how to set the lighting on a timer. The LED moonlights are activated by the switch on the top of the tank, but the regular lights are turned on by a power switch on the remote ballast. There is only one cord. I was thinking about getting a digital Coralife power center in order to have both of the light types on a timer, but I'm unsure how to do this.
Anybody out there with a good idea?

I have a 12g Nano Cube and I have the same problem. You can either go without the LED lights and plug the timer in like normal -- or rewire one light to a new cord plug them both into the Coralife power center. I'd vote for rewiring the LED lights because they're easier to access.
I haven't rewired the lights my self but I did replace and rewire my fans this way so I could hook them up to a variable voltage regulator. It wasn't too bad once I got the right parts. You might think about doing this yourself because the fans are kind of noisy at 12v but pretty darn quiet at 9v.
