great post. we just moved to north carolina recently, and set up our first tank. it's over 70 miles from our house to the meeting place, but i think i am going to try and attend this weeks meeting...and we will surely attend their workshop.

No problem, may I also suggest you join the CAAS? The charlotte Area Aquarium Society. It is located in charlotte obviously and although it isn't as big, it is moe in my area, there is no way I could commute that far for anything, but I am for the auction. :)
