wats the minimum tank size for clowns? ive heard from 125 to 180 gallons. id like as small as possible for mine.

180 is my minimum...the extra 6" in depth makes a big difference IMO.

Clown loaches? if so your going to need a big upgrade.

IMO, very eaisly. Feed often and make sure to do regular water changes. They are very slow growers and take years to even hit the 6" mark. My tank is 2' wide.

check out this big brute at the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago. I went there last weekend, it was a blast!
Biggest clown loach Ive seen in person, 11"+ and FAT!

I definitely agree that the slow growth of these loaches allow people to keep them in smaller tanks for the time being. But in terms of final tank sizes, I don't think 30 in a 120 gallon would be an ideal situation.
