What do you feed them and what kind of a clip do you use?
I feed flakes and pellets, but understand that I should do better than that.
Any advice appreciated

I feed algae flakes and tetra crisp in the morning ( the snails and the cories get an algae disc and some cat fish pellets.
at night same , only I add tubifex worms... they go bonkers for them and I just put them on a clip I got from the dollar store. 1 tubifex square and everyone goes nuts.
1 time a week I feed blood worms or brine shrimp.

Neat shots! It does look like the one cory could be full of eggs, not sure though.

I think you need to make it "rain" in that tank before your cory pops! My cories lay eggs everywhere after a water change with a bit cooler water sprinkled in from a watering can.

That's a clever way to feed the freeze-dried tubifex, via clip.
I'd be worried about a fish getting caught when the cube falls apart and the clip snaps shut, however.

that looks like a gravid cory to me! mine looked like that yesterday and this morning they were spawning. i grabbed about 30 eggs to try raising.
nice idea with the tubifex worms

the clip slowly closes as they eat. I put the cube far enough in that it can not close fast. so as they eat it slowly closes and then the when its closed the snails go from the bottom ( small snails) and eat whats in there.
