Using old sump as tank, how do i get the silicone residue off?

Ive scraped the tank but the is still some residue, what should i use to clean it off?

Ok, first off - relax, there's no need to bump a thread after half an hour. Give some people a chance to read it.

The best way I've found to remove silicone is with a brand new razor, but even then sometimes you can see a residue when its filled with water.

Yup, brand new razor blade.
then clean with isopropal alcohol.

be sure to thoroughly clean the tank before you add anything that will be part of the finished setup, like gravel, water or fish.
