I'm looking at several Canister Filters for my new 92 Gallon Corner tank,

The Marineland C-360

The Fluval 405

and

The Cascade 1500

I'm leaning towards the Marineland and the Fluval, but this is going to be my first canister filter and I don't really know a ton about them other than I can put whatever media I want into them.

Can anyone give me some recomendations on which I should get for my 92 Gallon?

i use fluval fx5's have 4 of them great filter i also use cascade 1500 canisters i have 3 of them i never had a problem and like them as well.

I SOOOOO badly want the Fx5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would recommend the C-360.

I would stay away from the Cascade 1500. I just threw out my 1200 last weekend due to leakage after a year and a half. The filter also became very noisy over time and the design allows a fair amount of bypass.

I like my 405s. Except for having the main seal leak overnight one time I really like them. I had one open and dry for two months and it took a while for the seal to take hold again. Now it sits in a dishpan for safety, although it hasn't leaked since.

I like the baskets and the large coarse filter, I've heard of people having trouble with the impeller guard which snaps into place, but I think that's a "don't overbend the stiff plastic" issue.
