I was just browsing around on the internet, and seen this flowerhorns pic. I was wondering, how much do you think this guy can be sold for? Under the description, it says that he is pushing 7" long. I think he is nice!!

Depends on the strains and the size (7" is not even close to adult size)...they can go anywhere from $20 to hundreds.

That is a fairly typical low class strain of zhen-zhu or "pearl fo the orient" if I am not mistaking. I wouldn't give any more than about $50.00 for it.

He is listed as a Kamfa, but I do not know that much about flowerhorns.

I don't think it is a kamfa they tend to have a bit more red in their coloring I think.

I am sorry to hear that he got sick. Nice flowerhorn though.

Tanks he got a terrible case of HITH and I had to euthanize him. A word of caution make sure you have PLENTY of filtration on any tank you put yours in if you get it.

I have a bunch of tanks, but my main display has a marineland canister filter. I love it. If I had a ton of money, all my tanks would have canister filters.

Sorry about your fish. The other fish is really nice IMO and could probably go for $150, but that also depends on where you're from. If you have the money, it would be a nice step up from your old fish (no offense)

I have never had this kind of flowerhorn before. I use to have about 30 red dragon fry that a friend gave me, but I was stupid, and sold them, and did not let them grow out. The 2nd flowerhorn pic that is on here is another member's.
Anyone can answer this, but I have had many people reply and say that is is not a Kamfa, does anyone know what he is?

Go to Aquatic Wonderland site, they specialize in Flowerhorns and ship them all over the country. If you don't see one like your fish, then you could send a picture to them and they could probably give you an idea of what it is worth.

Thanks. I did buy him though. I will have him in my tank next tuesday, and I will post a pic of what he looks like with the light on once he gets settled in. Thanks.
