Hey everybody.... I just brought home 3 albino cory cats from the LFS. They are very cool. My question concerns feeding them. I have flake food for my other fish (tetras & danios), and I bought tablets for the catfish. The tablets are about the size of an advil pain pill (200mg). I was told to feed these new guys about 1.5 tablets a day. The 3 cats are a little bigger than 1" long (probably about 1.25-1.5"). Does this amount seem right? AND...do I break up the tablets?? Supposedly, the tablets soften in the water. Do they just nibble at them? Or do I need to break them up for the fish? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

i always feed my corys regular catfish pellets. they soften up in the water. my corys also love the flake food the goes to the bottom. i dont know about the tablets they sold you. what is it that you have?

Just toss them in, they will soften and be eaten. The cories will get their share of flakes as well.

Those will work fine. They soften up and increase in size.
I feed mine algae wafers. You can buy them just about anywhere.

They are Hikari sinking wafers for catfish, loaches & bottom feeders.

:iagree: That's what I do, just drop several sinking pellets in and my cories eat them as well as the flakes that make it down. Throw a couple in and see if it takes long for them to be consumed. I find my other fish help finish the sinking pellets too.
