I've slowly been converting my FOWLR to a reef since late summer. Haven't had any real problems and it has been much more fun than just fish alone. My tiny Xenia frag has exploded and is gorgeous. Everyone comments on it. I added a small frag of Red Goniopora about a month ago. I know it is a tough coral, but I figured I would give it a try. It wasn't expensive, so I bit the bullet.

I also really like the xenia. Its so neat how it pulses. Had a bunch of it in my dads 180 until he got a love life and let his tank go. It makes me sad when I stop by and look at it as its over run with hair algae looking stuff. how big is the tank? Good luck with your corals.

Thanks for the reply.
It is a 75 gal.
The pumping of the xenia is the first thing everyone comments about. The fish are kind of becoming secondary to onlookers.
