:D After at least 2 weeks of being "missing", our red sand hopper reappeared. The culprit was the neon dotyback. We saw the sandhopper dart out to try and eat and the dotyback was in hot pursuit. ( We had previously blamed the shrimp, but have since appologized). We had never observed this aggression before. Now I tend to think the dotyback may be responsible for the missing chromis also. Fortunately we were able to catch the sandhopper and move him to our other tank where he seems to have settled in quite nicely. My guess is that the dotyback and the sandhopper were too similar in type.
