I have read where people have "subscribed" to a thread. does this help you find a particular thread faster and if so how is this "subscribing" done? Thanks

I've never subscribed to a thread, but it's an option under "thread tools" at the top of each thread.

Subscribing means you will get notified by e-mail that there has been a new post to that thread. Helps let you know what threads to check on without having to go look for it and find out if a new post has been made.

thanks, does that also mean that if several people respond to a thread that my email box could get an overload of emails?

I believe it notified you of the next post after your last visit but not of any other posts until you have again viewed the thread. I could be wrong.
