hi from prissy.finally got 50gal.all glass,glass top,strip lite with 2 25wt.lites,rena300wt heater,ac300power filter.please advise me on my choices as i am fairly new at this.thank you prissy.

With that filter you should make sure you don't over stock your tank... but a light to moderate stocking you should be ok...
with a tank that size you have tons of options. do you want big colorfull fish? big schools of little fish? a community tank with lots of variety?do you want to breed fish?

It's a big tank, but don't put too many fishes in it 'cause that's the best path to disaster. You must calculate the minimum amount of water that a fish "consumes" by its size (e.g. in your tank I wouldn't put more than 25 platys).

I know this is off topic and I don't want to hi-jack the thread but I haven't seen anyone else from Romania around...
How are things in Romania?
I don't know much about Romania except they produce high quality weapons, I have several SAR-1's and SAR-2's as well as a Romak 991 all made by Romarm / Cugir...
