For $350 I was able to get a 72" Power Compact complete Hood with 4 X 96 Watt lights -- And -- 6 built-in MoonLites! This is a Custom SeaLife product! It is also fan cooled..!

Big Al's Online wants $640 for the fixture -- without the MoonLites! (ouch!)
This is a saving of $290! I can scan the receipt and post if needed...

Those MoonLites do look great too..

I can't believe this deal at a LFS!

Shop around some.. You never know what deals may be out there...

Just found the same light set-up in Dr. Foster Smith catalog for $695.... Owww.
A $345 saving.. And, there's no MoonLites or fan on that one either..

Now you've got to post some pic's of the hood. I'd like to see how the lights are set-up inside.

I'd like to incorporate moonlights into my next diy hood.

The 72" fixture has the 6 MoonLites -- I'm sure the will look great at night ....

I don't understand their site at all. You go to check out their lights and half of every page is some really weird picture. What's up with that old guy? He's creepy .

1) Custom Sea Life uses very very strange advertising techniques

2) I have the 36" model over my saltwater tank until I get a MH light. It's really good!

I don't have pics yet... The MoonLites are placed between the 96watt CF bulbs lengthwise..
