Cute photo.
My cat prefers the dirty water in the bucket that has been siphoned out of the tank - erk!

Yeah, and what they didn't tell you is that that's a 46g bowfront! :eek3:
Both of my inside cats refuse to drink out of their perfectly nice water dish - they'll only drink out of the 5.5g invert/fry tank, our little water fountain thing, and the bottom of the tub after I get out of the shower. Cats are weird.

Your responses are too funny! Bowfront cat!LMAO!!!! We picked up this cat when we moved here--he was a scrawny little guy with fleas and ticks all over him and he was living at my daughters school getting handouts from the kids. Some kids were throwing rocks at him-:mad2: so my daughter picked him up. He freaked out and scratched her so I went and got him and kept him for observation--in case of rabies. The vet checked him out and said he was fine-just starving to death (literally) and covered in bugs. We fell in love with him and he's been here ever since! He is quite the big boy now and comes running when he hears a can pop-top (F-U-D!!) or hears me getting the buckets for my tanks! No danger of starving either! He is an inside cat now and wants no part of an open door to the outside. Go figure....

I had a cat once who only went outside when it rained so she could drink out of the puddles. I'm guessing that tank water is like fish flavored Kool-Aid for cats.

That's too funny. My cat loves to drink from the aquarium, too, but I don't have such a hilarious screenshot. Well done :)!
