02-18-2009, 11:27 PM
Holy crapy! That is some snackin'! Is there a specific reason to use the neons? Like to give your larger fish stimulation or something? Or is it that you just had the opportunity to get 300 of them so you went for it.

I seriously thought it was possible to keep Neons with those big fish. I thought they were meant to be tankmates. Guess I was wrong.

Must have looked like one of the bait balls on the Discovery Channel.

considering the fact that the two barramundi probably cost around $50,000... the cost of this 'treat' isn't too bad... it's all relative...

How are the Danios doing? They'll give the mundi's quite the workout for a meal.

Yeh. The danios are so fast, the barramundis will be getting a lot of exercise.:evil_lol:

I don't think his finances are any of our busines, either what he spends or how much he has. I know I wouldn't appreciate teh scrutiny. I don't think he intended the neons to be feeders, but got fish that are tight schoolers on teh chance they wouldnt' be feeders. The danios are still doing well in the tank.

I think i've seen his post somewhere when he just got those fish, and i think I even saw a post when the fish was for sale, I think the golden one. sorry, it's been a while, but I think there was a price noted while back. possibly on MFK
beabroca
03-04-2009, 1:21 AM
i agree that the price isnt a big deal...it was curiousity..thats all..not saying that the price meant anything just that i didnt know how much they cost. and about those danios i watched the video on these two fish swimming and those little fish book it when one of those big ones comes close...i would too!

I think most of the money jokes were jokes, like anyone really thinks he just did that to show off his bling, hehe.
