I have a 125 gallon tank. The occupants are 2 oscars, 1 green terror, 1 parrot, 1 tinfoil barb, 2 silver dollar, 1 convict and a pictus catfish. The tank has been up and running for about 6 months.

PH is 8.0
Amonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 10
Temp 76

My problem is that one of my oscars ( 5 inch red) has been sitting on the bottom of the tank for days now. All of the other fish in the tank are VERY active. The oscar who sits on the bottom has not been eating very well. He eats probably 1 out of 3 times I feed the fish. When he does eat its not with the enthusiasm of the other fish. Very odd considering oscars are usually huge pigs. The other oscar certainly is.

There are no visible signs of stress or problems with the fish.

About 5 weeks ago the tank had ich and I treated it with salt and heat and coppersafe. I have had no signs of Ich for at least 4 weeks now. No fish rubbing on things and no white spots. Since then I have done a few 25% water changes and used carbon.

Could this fish have some sort of internal parasite or infection?

I am interested to see the responses here, I have a gold ram who has been in my tank for over a year, and is usually the biggest pig in the tank. She has been displaying very similar behavior to your Oscar for about 3 days now (not eating, hiding in the back near the bottom), but looks totally normal. I was wondering if it could possibly be internal parasites as well.
