What do you love more, a prized fish or a finger?

Ok heres the scenario, you have a prized piranna that you have kept with you for 10 years, while trying to hand feed it bloodworms, it takes a bite at your finger, and is able to take it off. You know from watching the discovery channel, that if you put it on ice, and take it to a hospital. You are at a crossroad. Do you want to kill your prized fish in order to get your finger back? OR do you let it live, and say its natures coarse?

PS. You cannot put feed the piranna laxitives, because I am pretty sure that would be as hard as feeding it microworms

Thats why I never put my fingers in the tank, I do not like to take chances. thank goodness my guppy do not have sharp teeth :lol:

There is no guarantee that the finger can be reattached or made useful even if it could be saved. But I would guarantee the finger would be the last meal the fish ever had!

I sure am the minority, LOL... don't get me wrong, please... I am not that fish freak that lives and dies by her fish tank.... I mean, I go fishing, I eat fish, I still have yet to catch that one ocean fish, all that.... I just don't think you don't have to necessarily kill the fish just because he bit off more than he could chew...

I wouldn't kill the fish. Depending on how much of the finger was lost, one could always replace a missing finger with one of their toes. But what's 1 finger anyway, I got 9 more.
