I saw a blue and grey stand at a big Petsmart that looked solid anyway. It was a low single aquarium stand with cabinets. It stood on 4 sturdy square metal 1 1/4 by 1 1/4 inch legs. The cabinet is off the floor by about six inches. I might go for it unless I hear some negative feedback.
Thanks Steve

you can get one a lot cheaper at walmart. its just a metal one though maybe you can use a table cloth or something if you wanna store stuff under it.

Thanks John, I'll have to check my local Walmart. They must have them on a shelf somewhere because I've never noticed there stands. Two weeks ago i was in Walmart and they had a new item -- a 75 gal aquarium. That surprised me. It was just sitting on the bottom shelf. It wasn't a boxed kit like thier 55 gal. This was just the tank. I wondered how you would get it out of the building. I guess they would take it out back to the loading dock for you.

I noticed that too.. (the 75 gal tank) they are getting a 75 set up soon or atleast thats what the clerk told me...

Other than the 30 and 55gal stands, thats all I've seen...

I have one of their 55 gal. stands... It's nice but sits way to low, a little over priced too at about 85 bucks, but I wound up using mine for my home office as a nice cabinet with printers and a fax on it (FWIW it's hollow / open top, I used a matching black top I had from something else that broke in the move for a 'lid') actually looks beautiful. :D
