So, All this time I thought I had were two male Rams (blue & gold) I woke up this morning to see them Laying together, Chasing and doing the Mating dance. :confused:

I read on how to sex them but My German blue ram has the solid black blotch but also has the black streak in the fin, I'm so confused. :confused::lol:

Can someone 100% sex these two?

Front one looks male. The rear fish looks more like a gold ram (just a colour variety), so might be harder to sex. Which one was laying the eggs?
 
were they laying eggs?? even the gold variant will show the pink/orange tummy(generally)

That must be my case because I see no eggs. I just noticed them frolicking together behind the decor in the sand. The gold was rubbing his/her anal area in the sand.

When I first got them for a couple of weeks they could not stand each other they nipped and acted like Kissing Gouramis.

I must got some sort of bluffing confused with dancing?
