i have a 6 x 2 x 2 foot tank, and i am wanting to run probably 3 5 foot tubes over it to keep it really well lit for the plants to grow, but im not wanting to buy the rediculously expensive aquarium tubes at over £20 each. this is mainly due to my husband working for an electrical wholesalers and knowing how much they really cost, but also as we simply dont have the cash for buying them all. he can order in pretty much any tubes but we need to know what we are looking for in respects to colour codes or temperatures etc. any help greatly appreciated,thanks.
