tahts right to shrimp tanks!! im planning on moving stringey(my CT betta) back to my 35 in 2-3 weeks after my waiting period to make sure ich is gone is over, then im moving my cories up and 1 of my female bettas up to my 5 hex(my other male CT isnt looking good) and moving my other 1 to my brothers tank(he likes 1 alot it would be a good bday gift:D) so that leaves an empty 5.5 and 15..... i decided to make a ghost shrimp colony in the 5.5 and cherry shrimp colony in the 15. ill post some pics in a 2 weeks or so.

ooooh, looks like you have big plans in the works! Don't let us down and not post pics ^^

15 gallon! I wish I would have gone with a 20 rather than a 10 - LOL!

sigh, i can just imagine seeing the roving masses of shrimp that would scurry about in a 20g tank alllll to themselves!

man that would be awesome! i might get the ghost farm going by the end of the week actually as long as they mind mr. stringey fish

I was originally going to use the empty 3 gallon, then decided to go to the 6 gallon, and ended up putting a 10 together. Go for the largest tank you can evelyn :)

there alredy set-up/cycled so i dont even have to get as big as i want. cant wait to get my shrimps, though the cherries will probly take a longer time to get at 2$ a pop...

www.kensfish.com has some great caves and hollow logs in nice neutral colors. He sells them under "breeding supplies". I also found a lot of nice caves and hideouts in the reptile sections of pet stores and Petsmart. All are great for shrimp.
