Well, the silver dollars will grow out of it and if it is a common pleco, it too will grow out of it.

The Silver Dollars do get big, too big for the 30g plus the other fish..

What was also interesting, was how fast they grew!
If I remember correctly, they love eating live plants...

Yea, they are FW goats!!. They will eat any plant to the root. My 100gal had lots of plants a few years back. Bought 6 SD, tank became a desert!!! Ate all my swords (10-12), sag, anubius, crpyts, java sword and moss, everything.

Just fish and driftwood left. I gave them away and had to restart again.

Silver dollars + planted tank = happy silver dollars and NO MORE PLANTS!!

it might be or you over feeding them?

If the water is a "white" cloudy it's because the bio filter can't handle the load all at once and has to produce an over abundance of bacteria to take care of the excess waste. I would say it's due to over population. I think you'd be hard pressed to overfeed silver dollars and all those fish as even the newest of aquarists would know they were adding too much food.

good call, get yourself a nitrate test kit. That way you'll be able to monitor the nitrates incase they go overboard. low nitrates = no cloudy water and healthy fish.
