i have some coming in tommarow sometime i have everything set up and ready to go does anyone have any expereince in keeping these crays with no heater?( i have one in the tank now but, im just wondering for the future) . anyone know?, i heard they can survive freeze overs but im not sure if this is correct information i was thinking of setting up more tanks in the future in my unheated garage if its any help i live in Rhode Island. anyhelp would be great thanks

I keep 3 out of 4 kreb tanks with no heaters, they sit around the high 50s - low 60s. Anyway, the wild populations in Germany have survived the winters there, I don't think RI is going to be all that much colder (plus, even though it's a garage, it's keeping the wind, snow, ice, etc off them... it'll be a bit warmer than the outdoors, too).
