Aqua Heater Question

I was just reading an old tread and got the question of what would the disadvantages be of placing my main tanks heater in my sump. my thought was to get it out of the tank and make it a bit natural looking. I am getting tired of haveing all the clutter in the tank.

This is simply something that corssed my mind and wanted to get everyones oppinion on it.

As far as I can tell you, i don't think there is any disadvantages to having your heater in your sump, most people i know who use sumps place their heaters and other filter items there in the sump to clear up the tank.
