Installing my new CO2 tank and regulator. The Regulator is a JBJ Solenoid and regulator. I have set it to come on 1/2 hr after lights come on and turn off at same time. Is this good?? Or should I turn off CO2 1/2 hr before lights go off.
Have Seachem -flourish, Kent - FE, KH, GH. and K. Do I need anything else?? Yes, also have a dupla CO2 monitor.
Am I ready to ROCK and ROLL??

Provided that you have both a needle valve and way to dissolve the co2 into the water (a diffuser or reactor) you should be all set.
If you need info on needle/metering valves, take a look at my web site. I also have some but not a lot on reactors. YOu could go as simple as a very fine airstone - but ultimately that's not very efficient.

Bobalston: I also have the Eheim reactor, very small--I like it. Was just wondering if there is anything I am missing. Have been using DIY yeast kits (Coke bottle with a Lee valve), but was too small (I have a 100gal). Could not get PH under control. 7.4 was lowest I could get. All set now, tomorrow morning it goes online. Bubbles set for about 1 every sec. through a JBJ bubble counter.
Equipment 10lb CO2 tank.
JBJ Regulator/Solenoid with needle valve.
JBJ Bubble counter
Eheim reactor.
Plus the before mentioned chemicals.

Personaly I hate the diffusor...glorified airstone. You will get a much more stable pH using a reactor. The JBJ seems to have a pretty good needle valve
