Angelfish Feeding.

How often should i be feeding my two angelfish? I just feed them flakes for now.. i will be getting other things for them soon.

I have been doing once a day for about a week... but either im feeding them too much or the pinch is too large.. because their bellies buldge after they eat.


Their bodies are a little bigger than a quarter.

still pretty young.. feed them a couple small meals per day.. when they hit 50 cent size you can cut back to 1 x day(tho my pref continue with small feedings 2X
large weekly water change

i am a bad fish keeper mine that small only got fed once. though they were in a planted tank with plenty of guppy fry.

I feed my angels twice a day....big weekly water changes, sometimes more than one a week.

I feed mine twice a day flakes. about 1-2 times a week frozen bloodworms

Once a day is ok.the fact they have fat lil belly's tells me they are getting enough to eat.at half dollar size I start mine on shimp pellets about 3 pellets for each fish and a nice pinch of blood worms or decaped brine shrimp eggs. At hand size my angel's get 5 shimp pelltes bloodworms/brine eggs
And some green pellets.my pairs will lay eggs about three times a year feeding them like this.good luck and enjoy the angels

I think I spoil mine, they get bloodworms for breakfast and flake small amounts twice a day and endless supply of guppy fry in tank

I fed em flakes once a day and occasional meal worms for dinner.
