I have had 3 of these lil guys since I got my first aquarium, and not knowing anything about fish when I bought them, I neglected to get the minimum required for a happy school!
When I found out I need at least 2 more, I went back to get some more and they were out!!
After months and months of waiting, with none of the LFS's being able to get any more, I finally got the call today that some Botia Striata were in!
So I rushed down to the store and got 4 of the guys, and oh man was I excited!
My girlfriend dumped them in when I wasn't looking, before I could quarantine them, luckily though I had already acclimated the QT with the drop method (by the time she dumped them it was almost all tank water). Well now there are 7 extremely happy loaches zooming around the tank clicking and annoying Gary (my Albino BN) SO CUUUUUTE!!!
I wish my camera was working so I could get a picture for you guys!!!
I feel so unmanly doing this, but loaches make me go "SQUEEEEEEE"
haha!
I just hope I dont have to deal with the ICH again....
