first multi spawn!

last night b4 i turned out the light in my multies tank i decided to watch them for a min. well i saw a small movement in the shell of the dominant fish. and after a real close look i saw a fry move. they are the size of a pinhead and there is only one or 2 i think. i am soooo excited!

i do have a question about this though. will the parents keep them feed or what? cuz they obviously dont leave the shell for feeding time.

I knew it would happen eventually

I've never targeted the fry for food. I do feed some brineshrimp every once and I while and I suspect they get a hold of that.

I would suspect so. I've never noticed it though.

so if i dont put in special food for the fry, they will still grow and mature and be fine

ok that sounds good than cuz i didnt want to have to do anything for picky fish. will they grow fast. i havent really looked but i couldnt see them today. i wish i could tel how many there are, there cant be more than 2.

Yeah usually first batch are small in numbers and well they dont tend to throw out a big clutch, also i never fed anything different from what i feed the parents and the babies fare well..

Good job expect more to come..
