I have 3 different "clutches" or clumps of eggs in some java moss and they have been there for a couple of weeks. What is the incubation period for them? How can I tell if they are fertile or not? I can't find my magnifying glass to be able to really check them out so I hope you can tell me what to look for.

I haven't seen an infertile spixi clutch, though I am sure its possible. You can see the little snails developing inside the eggs. You can actually see the little snails, the eggs also go from looking white to being clear with brownish dots (the snails) inside, they also appear to "spread out" a little right before hatching. I will dig around, i had some pics of a new clutch and thena clutch hatching that I can post when I find them.
