I posted a couple questions here a while back and now I'm just kinda following up on them.
So I'm going to be stocking it with 6 rusty cichlids and 6 electric yellows or Saulosi's. Anyway I was wondering if I might have enough room to squeeze in an albino bristle nose? Also I'm thinking it would be a good idea to throw in an air stone with all of these fish or no?

I'll take and post pictures as I set it up this weekend.

Oooooh one other question. If I use the bio media (not the sponge) out of my other tank can I put fish in right away or do I need to re cycle?

Let it cycle you will thank me later my friend..

The stock sounds good aye, well you will get a lot of different advice when it comes to plecos in an African setup more so on the negative side but as for me a 22 year veteran hobbyist and avid African keeper i keep Albino BN plec's in my setups and actually i am looking for the regular brown BN plec's now to go in my 120gal..

Key note on the BN wait a while before intro of BN you will need to let the tank build up enough diatoms so that they may feed on this as well mine love it but i also feed reg foods as well for them..

Get the cycle done before stocking I absolutely agree.

Not sure about 12 fish in there plus a pleco...probably I would cut down to 8 max...a 40 is just a little tight really.
