Don't worry... his fins don't end there... they just get transparent from the blue out! :)
 
haha Aloysius is definitely not a boring name, at least and he does look rather grumpy :) What's a blue out?

His fins... they look like they are ratty and tatty, but they go from blue to transparent - so, from the blue out to the ends of his fins, it's transparent. Sorry for not being clear.
