regulator rentals?

has anyone heard of renting a regulator from a welding supply place? I need one until my new regulator comes in. Its either that or dose with excel.

how long until it comes in? really there shouldnt be too much of a delay.

honestly, please dont flame me to death if some of you have a good relationship with Rex Grigg but i did some looking around on his forums. Basically he has to build the thing, and then he explains in a thread that he is always really busy and doesnt have a lot of time to build regulators and only ships once a week. I wish I knew this beforehand because I would NOT have ordered from the guy. I would have gotten the same regulator from greenleaf and it would come in less than a week. Not to mention he hasnt returned my last email and I have no way to know when the unit is going to ship. And as many of you know, the guy is a bit on the arrogant side.

Its my own fault, believe me i know. Now I get to watch my plants rot because i dont have the time to make a DIY.

Plants won't die in a week, trust me, I know.

I would order from where you feel comfortable. Cancel your order from Greg if you feel he is not up for the job. If he has any issues, have him speak with your PayPal, or CC company.

i looked on paypal and the payment was received, i dont think i can cancel it at this point.

co2 will help growth but the plants shouldnt die with out it. even if you rent the regulator you still have to get a needle valve.

no but the tank will turn into an algae infested mess. I have a needle valve, that piece of crap one from milwaukee.

well, this guy isnt returning my emails. What a mistake ordering from him. I could have gotten a regulator after 2 days from ordering from green leaf. Who the hell doesnt return emails when you send 150 bucks to their inbox.

ok well i finally got in touch with him and he is shipping the regulator tomorrow..that means i should get it in 4-5 days as he is on the other side of the country. I just hope I dont get a nasty algae bloom now.
