Here is a pic of my damaged snail. She is alone in the 55 gallon so she won't be bothered by the males. She eats great and cruises around the tank just fine and laid a clutch last night.

wow did it all happen at once? or just keep growing?
boy it hurts just looking at it,..
can you imagine what she's thinking? what the hay!,.. I've been told to just split but this is ridiculous,.........lol

It has been like that since she was tiny. She has some kind of membrane in the split and her body is not exposed so I guess she is doing okay. I just don't want the males to get to her. :)
