I'm no expert, but they look good. Their heads are round, eyes are small, and color is nice as well. I personally love the longer bottom fins. Gill plates are long enough to cover gills, and the jaw seems strong. Eyes are small, does not look stunted.
However, since the picture is taken at an angle, I can't tell how round they are. They look to be around 5" or so, maybe more.
If they're a pair, I would say they would cost $500 and up maybe.
We have some experts on the forums here, and hopefully they'll chime in soon.

Definately a nice pair (if they are a pair). Without a side shot to see disc shape and true eye alignment, it's hard to rate, but they look fantastic!

:iagree: but Iwould have to hijack that shipment :evil_lol:
That is a pair the male is on the left female on the right for an unproven pair $500 a proven pair 750+ depending upon the source of the fish. don't get worry to much about grading a fish the perfect fish is so rare 1 in 100 spawns.
you need to look for certain things body shape, rounder the better. eye proportion 1:7 to the size of the head, no eye chip : looks like a piece of the eye is missing, those are the major defects that the general discus keeper should look for in picking their fish along with the other factors you would look for in any other fish you would buy.

If your paying big bucks you want the pupil on the eye to be centered. The one on the right "might" by the picture be off center,

I think it's just the angle the photo was taken and the angle of the fish looking downward instead of straight on.
