My angel layed eggs on the filter intake. She does not appear to be paired with either of the other two angels in the tank, although the larger unsexed angel was pretty interested/protective of the eggs (actually to the point of chasing mom away), but no breeding tube visible.
Should I expect this to be a regular performance or will she not lay eggs in the future since she doesn't have a partner? She's not even full grown yet, although she's had a slightly distended abdomen since I bought her a little over a month ago... that's resolved with the spawn.
Also, how long till her ovipositor should "go away?" I scraped the eggs off the filter since she seems done, but does the still present ovipositor mean I should expect more eggs soon?
