I have one that leaks like crazy, it has always leaked... and their customer service has been dreadful. For all I know its an isolated incident, but you won't see me buying anything else from them

If thats true (which I do believe you) then I personally wouldn't chance it. I love my Rena XP3 for my 55gal. Customer service means alot to me...maybe not to you but if you have a problem, then it will. Good luck with your choice!
 
That is pretty innovative would be great for smaller tanks. Im gonna see where the jury is on these units and maybe put one on my 20 gallon community.

Should have read your post first. Well you stopped me from buying one. I do need a UV unit though I think I am gonna hook one up on my 20 with maybe a eheim classic 2213 or 2215
 
I decided to buy a Marineland C-220 instead so I don't have to worry about if I'm getting a good quality product or not.
Order from Ebay.
