Yep, Achatina fulica are illegal to own in the US.

But they are still a very interesting species.

OP didnt exactly say "giant land snails" guys, though the only others i know of plague the garden

i know some are illegal like the giant african land snail, there are some that are legal that you can order them offline. i was just wondering if anyone kept them as a pet?

you could always buy a snail.....no1 has to know about it and i dont think someone would call the cops bcuz OMG YOU HAVE A FREAKIN AFC SNAIL. hell most people dont even know what they are. now im not saying rebel against the law or anything but if you want one bad enough.
