I've gone to glass tops and an overhead hanging light system so I'm selling the old hood/light. This is the oak finish in (2) sections to cover a 55 gal. with center brace. Light is an all-glass single tube fluorescent with a pretty new (less than 3 month old) T6 size bulb. works fine. Only flaw on light is that the little fluorescent starter socket has become unseated and now rests inside the light unit. You'd need to undo about 7 screws to get at it for a starter change. Doesn't effect daily use at all. Local pick-up preferred as it is 48" long. I'm not far from Boston or Providence. Asking $35.00 for all.
