The end is near!!!

How old is the co2 tank? Most paintball co2 tanks have a 3 year hydro date on them and need to be tested or replaced by the date stamped on the tank. It is possible your tank is malfunctioning/outdated which can be extremely dangerous especially with something like a full co2 tank. Many people have been injured/killed by using outdated/damaged tanks. I have to fill these tanks every weekend at the paintball field I work at and have to check to make sure that the tanks are up to par before I fill them. Now it could be very possible that who ever is filling your tanks is just not doing it right or just not filling it all the way. Another thing to realize is that the tank will naturally lose pressure slowly, they are meant to be filled, then played with, most tanks do not store the full amount of co2 over prolonged periods of time, or it could be what MG said. Or there could be a leak somewhere in your system. Either way, check to make sure your tank is not past its re-hydro date. If it is, get a new one, it's usually cheaper to get a new one than to get them re-tested. When it comes to compressed gasses you do not want to mess around, tanks hold A LOT of pressure, in fact the tank I use when I play is rated at 5000psi(pounds per square inch).

sorry for going on that rant, I just would rather see someone be safe and concious about the equiptment they use than have a hole blown through their wall or head.

At what pressure do you guys think the tank will just dump itself? I think I'm going to empty it this weekend and fill it up again, you know.. just incase it the end of the tank dump is near. good idea or no?

the 20 oz on my 75 last 3-4 weeks

since this has been running since Nov.. I suspect it's nearly empty. mine act very similar as it get near the end of the tank

brandon.. it really isn't a compressed gas is it.. since it is liquid CO2 they use.

I know scuba is much higher rates at 3000psi

mine run to empty

I keep several so I can swap when it's dry
