Need help - raised white spot on pregnant black molly

I can't figure out what this is - there is only one spot. She is acting normal. Tank is fairly well established, but has persistant low-level ammonia that I can't seem to get rid of even with daily water changes, am thinking of adding another filter (26 gallon tank, Aqueon 30 filter currently). No new fish except for last 10 babies......

Any ideas what the spot could be?

An established tank shouldn't have any ammonia, but your post indicates that you know that. How long has the tank been set up? What are your actual parameters? A photo would help a lot with diagnosing the fish.

would ich be possible in a brackish tank???

I don't think so...its too much salt for FW ich, and not enough for marine ich.

A pic would help greatly in diagnosis. What SG do you keep your tank at?
