HELP ! how full do i fill media basket on magnum 350

I want to fill my carbon media basket on my magnum 350 deluxe, how full is it suppossed to be to work properly ? am i suppossed to fill it up completley, or only part of the way, instructions don't say how much.

how big is your tank? like a table spoon for ever 10 gallons or so is what i use.

it's a 100 gallon, i looked up their web site and found the info. they said fill the basket up completly to the top. so i did and it seems to be running fine, just wondering if it could run on less carbon.and still be effective.
