He was mad at me for taking him out while I was rescaping his home. So when he got back in, he spent a while posturing at me. Ooooh, I'm scared!! :lol2: Btw... question for your betta folks... What kind of betta is he? (Color and finnage?) Besides the "Common Pet Store Betta."

He's called a "Studly-Dudley"

:D

Beautiful boy!

Terrific coloring.

He is a Veil Tail.

They are very easy to breed and very resilient! His color, that's a bit tricky. The pattern is Marble (which is a type of mutation where multiple colors can go everywhere).

He has red on the outside (which is typical of Cambodian coloration). The mint green is Metallic - looks like someone was trying to breed a "Dragon" type VT and this is what they got instead. The white on the end of the ventral fins usually indicates "Butterfly" which means some of his progeny should have white on the tips of all fins. Do you see where the metallic color stops right at the gills? That just means he is not a "Full Mask" where that coloring goes all the way to the lips.

If you were to breed him, you may get reds, steel blues, butterfly patterns and maybe even some dragon scaling. Just my opinion. I am not a genetic expert.
