Hey all

I have a 46 g BF, EI ferts, DIY CO2 (30 ppm),
96 w A& H retrofit in a DIY hood ( 2+ WPG)
4 - 7” tall angels (superveils fin to fin) and 2 LF ABN’s.

My L. Repens, L. Sessiflora & Hygro Sunset usually grow like mad & I have to trim
every 2 weeks or so. Right now they’re in a holding pattern.
Because my dd black angels require good water I change 50% three times a week
and gravel vac on one of those changes.
I also have E. bleheri swordplants in that tank but have to grow more in a
nursery tank because the ABN’s suck the juice out of the leaves.

I have a question.
Does anyone have an idea why the plant growth is slowing down??
I changed the 96 w CFL tube about 5 months ago.
I faithfully do maintenance and fertilize daily.
I use two one gallon CO2 bottles and alternate mixture changes weekly
In order to maintain 30 ppm. I keep the 4d KH solution in the green.

Here are some pictures:

The first two were taken in January. I trimmed them mid Feb and they
haven’t grown much since.

Thank you
Charles

Are you replanting the tops of the stems? Stems slow down in growth as they age.

Yes for awhile I was but the groth got too thick.
I sold some and planted some in other tanks.
I'm not kidding, for awhile I could not thin them enough.
The water is 80-82 F.

Thanks for the reply

My only other guess would be CO2 output or light levels. Are you're plants pearling? Check the drop checker fluid and make sure its not contaminated and not displaying higher than actual readings.
