I have fish!

Yay for having fish. :D 3 zebra danios. I tried to take pictures, but dang they're fast lol. I have a few from when they were in the bag, but they're through the tank and the bag and kinda blurry.

They're still darting around top speed, and staying very much together. There are only 3, so when they're less freaked out will they school, being the only ones in the tank?

They'll have some GloFish buddies joining them soon, but I didn't want $7 fish as the first ones in. ;)

I'm also psyched because I replaced the fans (it's a BioCube). The old ones were LOUD and the new ones are completely slient. :D It was kind of a PITA to take the hood apart, and I had to take one of the actinic lights out (it used to be a reef tank) but it's so quiet. :) And for only $20!

i have a 29 gallon biocube too and the first thing was replaced those darn fans..i got the Silenx fans..there reallyyyy quiet

haha yea my fish do that too its pretty funny.. they get in the flow and bam there on the other side of the tank. i love just watching them do that all day

Next things is to replace the LEDs (my dad modded the tank a little lol) but 2 of the LEDs are burned out. I'm getting a timer (free from a very generous person on this board!) so I can use the remaining actinic and the LED lunar lights. :D

i only use the light with the fans.. since the biocube lights are meant for salt water if i used the actinics it would cause a lot of algae. so i just use the white one :)

Before I took the second actinic out there were 2 36 watt white lights, and 2 36 watt actinics. I'm planning on running the remaining actinic a half hour before and after the regular lights. We'll see how the algae is, if it's a problem I'll stop using them. I really want to use the LED lunars with the GloFish though. :D Or with neons, if I get those.

Oh, I meant replacement bulbs. :) Of course if you haven't needed to replace them yet I guess that wouldn't help.
