Hey, I have 2 percula Clowns which are very active eaters and a scooter blenny which normally eats any leftover stuff/stuff in the tank. -- and he eats flake food cause thats all they were feeding him at the pet store and he was living perfectly healthily there for at least like 3 months before I picked it up. So should i feed my fish once or twice a day? I know they like smaller feedings but is once a day good enough? Thanks!!!

If they are active fish the they should be fed two small feeds per day.

Definitely!

You can use an autofeeder for both feedings or only one and hand feed the other (I like this because it helps build a relationship between you and your fish!) :)

I agree that 2 smaller feedings are better than 1 large one.

It really varies on the way you feed and upon the dietary needs of the fish. Some fish may need to be fed a few times per week (once on each day), whereas others may need 3-5 feedings per day, depending upon available natural food. I honestly vary the frequency on my tank, which could consist from one to several small feedings per day. Some days I'll even fast the fish.

I'd go with the 2 smaller feeds, but Amphiprion above also has a point - fasting your fish for a day sometimes is good for cleaning out their digestive tracts and good to prevent even more nitrogenous waste buildup! I bought a pair of ocellaris clowns a few weeks ago because I needed yellow/orange in my tank but I detested them on principle ("OMG ITS A NeMO LAWL!!!11!one!1"). They have since become my favourite fish just to spite me, and are an absolute joy to keep! I hope all goes well with your kids :)
