I was just wondering if you can do this and should I use a small water jet for a little water movement? Because I hear that they are filter feeders. I don't have any now if anybody needs to know.

I don't know about clams but I can tell you the particles in Cyclop-eeze are too big for bamboo shrimp to filter. They have to go pick most of the particles up off the ground to eat them. I would guess the clams might have the same problem.

I forget to say that I would like to keep the clams alone without anybody else in there with them. Is this okay? Thankyou dr.awkward for your answer. I'll try it anyway and switch to something else if this doesn't work.

It's good that you're looking into this before buying them. I had mine on order already before I did the research.

Instead of repeating here all the info I have to offer on these, it's easier for me to just link back to my previous posts. Hope this helps.
