Hey all,

I was wondering if anyone could please help me out with an ID on this plant. It's the single tall stemmed one in the left corner by the drift wood.

Thanks :thm:

Thats a nice tank. I have a plat just like that and I have no idea what it is. (I don't know most of the plants names in my tank. I need a camera...)

Question for you though. What kinda moss is that on your driftwood?

Thanks for the kind words Cerhob. It's Java Moss on the driftwood. I got a ball of it from a friend and spread it out and tied it down with thread.

That's a pic of the left side of the tank. Here is a picture of the middle and right side. The pics are about a month old, the Rotala and Limnophila have grown a fair amount since then.

Wow. Thats a great looking tank. Please don't tell me your new at this or I may just rip out all of my plants LOL

I wish my 55g tank looked like that....mine just looks messy to me.

You know, looking at your java moss just made me realized that I had some but I had no idea what it was. I thought it was just a buch of roots so I threw it away. DOH!

But I have some more of it I realize now in my 55g. Huzza! ...now the question is what the hell do I have on my driftwood in my 10g that I thought was Java Moss....

I had the wrong one at first.. I see the stem plant you mean. Looks like Hygrophila corymbosa 'Siamensis.'

I won't tell you that I'm new at planted tanks then. Thanks again, but after seeing many of the planted tanks from members on these forums I also feel the need to rip out mine sometimes and move things around .

I really need to get co2 hooked up, but man it's going to be exspensive to switch some things out to get ready for it. I have a wet dry system as well as a rena xp and I have read I can't use co2 with a wet dry hooked up as you lose a bunch of the co2.

cheers
